The Big Heart Paddle is a charity paddleboard event that benefits the Bravery Beads Foundation. The purpose of the Big Heart Paddle is to provide a fun and engaging way to support a very special organization. The race consists of a 3 mile and 5 mile race around Palm Island in Miami Beach. The winners receive one of our coveted LEBO inspired paddle trophies.
Changes are already being made for next year's Big Heart Paddle. Including more categories for the race, electronic transponder timing system, more paddleboard competitions (and we're not just talking about the main race), more LEBO inspired prizes, and more cool vendors on site. We can't wait to see you out there next year.

Helping Children Be Brave!
The Bravery Beads Foundation is a non profit organization that improves the quality of life of children battling cancer and other life threatening illness through their incredible Bravery Beads program that is implemented in hospitals throughout the country. When children are admitted into the hospital, they are given a necklace with their name on it. As they undergo difficult treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, they receive special plastic or wooden beads called Bravery Heart Beads, to commemorate these milestones. The beads serve as a badge of courage and reward the children for their bravery. The organization was founded by Darren Enkin and his wife Corrine. All of us who are part of the Big Heart Paddle are appreciative and supportive of the important role that Darren and Corrine play in the lives of the children who are touched by their program.
Please remember to go visit our friends over at Kingfish who were generous enough to donate the board that was the coveted LEBO grand prize paddleboard. Thank you Brendan and team Kingfish.
Sean of Ark Boards made sure that the Big Heart Paddle was board equipped for some of the paddlers who didn't have their own.
